Kingsley Junction is a fictional home layout created specifically as a demonstration for The Model Line. It represents a compact steam-era secondary route, with a market-town station, goods yard and a scenic approach through the countryside.
The profile shows how builders can document a layout’s gauge, period, prototype, dimensions, control system and future plans. Continuing progress can be shared through the moderated build diary below.
This is not a real exhibition layout or booking. Its details and photographs are illustrative and can be replaced as genuine community layouts join the directory.

Goods yard scenery begins
The first layer of ground cover has been added around the goods shed, along with the yard’s coal staithes and a temporary placement for the weighbridge. The next stage will add fencing, weathering and small details before the track receives its final treatment.
