Steam Gala and Model Railway Show

About this event

As part of the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway Steam Gala, there will be a Model Railway Exhibition in the display sheds at Raven Square Station Welshpool. Admission to the exhibition is included in the price of a Rover Ticket to travel on the Railway. There is an admission fee to enter the site for those not travelling on the Railway. The exhibits will be mainly Narrow Gauge in a variety of scales and gauges. Layouts attending: The Lentil Soup Works in G Scale will be making its first appearance for a number of years. Built by the late Mike Goodwin, it has now been refurbished by Colin Heath of the Newtown Model Railway Club.
